You may use this application if:
- You are an adult not currently in a UW-Milwaukee degree program and wish to take undergraduate courses for credit:
- As a "first step" before applying to an undergraduate degree program
- In preparation for admission to graduate school
- For professional advancement or career change
- For personal enrichment
- At off-campus sites or via distance learning
- At a UW College as part of the UWM College Connection Program (credits are earned through UWM)
- You are an undergraduate Summer-only Guest Student or UWinteriM-only (winter intersession) Guest Student
- You are an adult not currently in a UW-Milwaukee degree program and wish to audit (sit in on) undergraduate courses at a reduced rate and without earning academic credit.
Some restrictions include:
- Enrollment is permitted on a space available basis
- Certain courses are closed to auditors
- You are a Wisconsin resident who is 60 years of age or older and wish to audit (sit in on) undergraduate courses at no charge.

- You are interested in enrolling in graduate courses off-campus
Student Accessibility Center:
The Student Accessibility Center offers support, information, and referral services to all UWM students with disabilities.

Graduate Special Student Applicants:
The Graduate Non-Degree classification is reserved for the student who wants to take courses for graduate credit but is not currently working toward a degree at UWM.
If at a later date you decide to pursue a graduate degree at UWM, you will need to apply as a degree-seeking student.
This is a separate application process.
Acceptance as a Graduate Non-Degree student does not guarantee admission to a graduate degree program.
The department(s) in which you propose to take graduate courses as a Non-Degree student have recommendation and denial authority for all Non-Degree candidates.
